Excellent!

Comments: THE PREFILTER WORKS FINE, THE PROBLEM IS INSTALLATION. THE ANGLED PIPE DOES NOT MATCH THE INTAKE HOSE ON THE EHEIM 2217 FILTER. IT MATCHES WITH OUTPUT HOSE. IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE PREFILTER I HAD TO REMOVE THE ANGLED PIPE & REVERSE THE EXISTING INTAKE PIPE SO THAT THE SHORTER END IS IN THE TANK AND CUT A SHRT PIECE OF INTAKE HOSE TO CONNECT THE INTAKE PIPE TO THE PREFILTER PIPE. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I added 2 Eheim Prefilter Base Hosings to my 75 gallon tank after it was already set up. Only issue I had on one was back cover came off where you would hook up a second filter. Other than that, it works great Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
