Expert Line Extra Magnesium 250ml

Magnesium (Mg) is present in a high quantity (1300 to 1350 ppm) in natural seawater. Contrary to its not only quantitative significance, this element was ignored as an important parameter of the marine aquarium for a long time. Today we know that Magnesium creates a remarkable improvement in the growth of calcareous algae and also has a positive influence on the growth of invertebrates and macro algae. In highly populated reef aquaria with rapidly calcifying organisms there is a fairly high turnover of magnesium and even if maintenance of magnesium levels is not typically a rapidly developing problem, over the long run the levels can change significantly due to the fact that different organisms use different amounts of magnesium.

To ensure that our tank population has the maximum chance for survival and growth, we should certainly attempt to administer the best forms of nutrients we can. This brings about the need to either have additives that remain in the water longer or to adjust the dosage so that all required elements are present on a continuous basis and at the same time, remain in the same concentrations as needed (both in terms of quantity and as a percentage of each). For this needs we have created the ELOS Extra Magnesium.

Elos EXPERT LINE products are manufactured from pharmaceutically pure salts, under strict control, in modern facilities designed for the preparation of high-purity pharmaceuticals. They are free from synthetic additives and contain no nitrates, phosphates or silicates, thus avoiding adding undesirable by-products to the water. Mixed in sterile environment, packed using dark glass containers to avoid contamination, blended to provide sustained bio-availability in the medium-long term rather than simply increasing, in the short term, the targeted element, these additives offer maximum durability and quality thus improving the biological/chemical equilibrium inside our tanks.

Elos Extra Magnesium, an additive of the EXPERT LINE, is a very efficient, highly concentrated additive that contains magnesium in an ionically balanced formula which will safely raise the magnesium level in any marine system without upsetting the ionic balance of the system. The addition of plain magnesium salt in a marine aquarium interferes with the ionic balance of the tank water. Elos Extra Magnesium has been carefully formulated and supplies magnesium in a natural biologically available and ionically balanced form needed for proper growth and health of invertebrates and calcareous algae.
