Comments: It's great; good quality and doesn't obstruct flow. I have a 55gal sump/reservoir in my basement, and pump the water up through the floor to the tank with an Iwaki MD55RLT which is wall mounted vertically. I attached the check valve directly to the intake of the pump so that I can shut off the pump (or in the case of a rare power failure) and not lose the water in the pump. I don't have to prime the pump and it will never run dry. Plus, the clear casing allows me to instantly see the swing valve is up and I know the water is pumping. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i am using this product on my saltwater system. it stops the water almost instantly when the pump is shut off. no water leaks around the seal. very minimal flow reduction. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I thought I would try this product as an alternative to an overflowing sump during power blackouts. It installed without difficultly and does not seem to hamper flow from my Iwaki pump. I tested and it seems to work fine. I would recommend this valve Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
