Average

Quiet, with cushion by Jaysson

Comments: Undoubtably, this fan is quiet when plugged in, but it depends what you have it attached too. I am not cooling a light but have used this to cool underneath my stand and extract air from the cabinet. Mounting this to the cabinet created an irritating high pitch whine that blows any benefit this quiet fan had. I'm currently trying to figure out how to place this into the stand without using metal or hard materials that will transfer the vibration. Will most likely use some combination of cushion to keep it off the wood, and some securing band or wire to hold it in place. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is definitely one of the most high quality fans I have used on my tank. With the variable sensor it regulates the airflow and it maintains my tank at a nice 77-79 deg. It was 81-83 before the fan, well worth the cost in my opnion, when you have expensive corals and alot invested in your tank why skimp on something like this. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Works great! Sensors self regulate fan speed to allow accurate cooling on my 760 watt metal halide over a 90 gal reef tank- whether I have just the actinic flourescent on or the larger 250 Watt bulbs adjusts and keeps temps within 1.5 degrees consistently. Think I'd be even closer to within a degree if I had a better heater than my $9 special. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I think this is one of the best fans I have used on my tanks. The sensor works great for regulating fan speed. The airflow is the highest I've seen on a fan this size as well. Only downside is the price, a little steep for my liking. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
