They were ceramic, and frag plugs, and they fulfilled the role that I expected them to fulfill... with a vengence!They worked well when using cyanoacrolyte gel glue (loctite gel from W-M in my case), they fit right in eggcrate so your snails don't knock your frags off and kill your frags.I was pleased with my purchase and felt it was a great value.
