This is a fired ceramic disk that does not need to be soaked before using. They are excellent for zoanthid growout and color up nicely in your tank. No need to glue so you can move them around to adapt to different lighting and flow parts of your tank if you bought a few of them. It's weighted heavily. Maybe priced a tad too high but worth it to me. I placed it high in the tank on a flat piece of live rock w a ton of flow. Should color up with coralline in a few weeks. I'm very happy with it. Both the smaller based frag plugs and larger based frag plugs can fit on this.
