Comments: Pump is both quieter and more powerful than I expected. I had to valve back the output more than 50%. Motor noise is limited to a low hum. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I use it on my closed loop. Very quiet considering it's size. The manufacturer was very helpful with my questions regarding proper mounting. It must be well ventilated with cool air; otherwise it can transfer heat to the water. No different than any other fan cooled external pump, except that it's such a large pump, so it's more noticeable, especially on a smaller system. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
