Comments: I have to agree with the other reviewers that this part is prone breakage with normal use. I am replacing this part for the second time. The last one broke on the second use. And judging from the other comments this seems to be a common occurrence. This part needs to be Recalled. Just kidding. Though it could sure use a design revision. The system itself is great. One of the most useful aquarium products I've come across. Sure beats lugging water jugs back and forth. I would recommend this because the system can't function without it. And it is a must have utility for hobbyists like myself.... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Needs to be built stronger; Plastic is weak and easily broken But its the only part available for hose. Without pump your hose is usless. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am glad to be able to get a replacement pump, but it is unfortunate that the whole pump has to be replaced when just the plastic threads get stripped where it attaches to the sink...I wish this part were metal or that just that little part could be ordered separately! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This part works great the first few times you use it, but threading a plastic part onto a metal fitting, it won't take long before the cheap plastic threads strip off and you have to buy another one of these. After all these years, it's a real crime that Python hasn't remedied this shortcoming in their otherwise very useful product. This part really ought to have brass threads to make it last more than a year. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
