Seachem Reef Complete ™ is the liquid version of the Reef Advantage Calcium. It is a concentrated (160,000 mg/L) optimized blend of ionic calcium designed to restore and maintain calcium to levels found in natural seawater without affecting pH (formulated at pH 8.3). Calcium and carbonates are essential to all coral growth. If either becomes deficient, coral growth will cease, followed by a rapid decline in coral health. Reef Complete™ also includes magnesium and strontium in amounts proportionate to typical utilization ratios (100:5:0.1, Ca:Mg:Sr). This allows one to maintain these two important elements while maintaining calcium. Reef Complete™ delivers 560x more calcium than is available from an equal volume of kalkwasser solution. Use Reef Complete™ to maintain adequate calcium and Reef Calcium™ to promote accelerated growth. 500 mL treats 32,000 L (8,000 gallons). A More Concise Way by jnperlm Experience Level: Expert Posted on 9/1/2007 from CHICAGO, IL UNITED STATES Comments: While the use of the two-part liquid systems are easier, I have found that to insure proper PH, Ca and Alk, the better way is to use this Seachem product along with either Reef Builder or Reef Buffer (Of course using accurate test kits, Seachem's Ca and Sallifert's Alk).) I use Seachem products exclusively for dosing. A combination of Reef Complete, Reef Calcium, Reef Builder and Reef Plus helps maintain optimal water parameters. All dosing, make-up water, and water changes are accomplished via a 30 gallon sump. A demand delivery pump makes water transfers a snap. An RO/DI system ensures high water quality. There have been no significant algae blooms and minimal other issues. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
