Comments: I feed heavy in my mixed reef aquarium and had a bad algae problem as a result. I started using PhosGuard, putting one cup of the product in a filter sock and placing that in the chem filter and the algae was under control in about two weeks. Phos levels went from 3+!! to 0. I replace it every week with a fresh cup of PhosGuard, I still feed heavy and have had no problems since. I really like this product! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
