Comments: A very quiet and powerful pump that I have attached to my protein skimmer. My first one lasted for 8 years and the gasket eroded but the pump was still going strong! Quality item. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Better than the 1200 maxi-jet when used with a protien skimmer but not as much bubbles as I thought it would produce. It does work well with my CPR refugium. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I replaced a Maxijet 1200 that I had modded to an RVT pump, and man, it made a lot of noise. So much so that I replaced it with this Rio RVT pump, and this is much quieter. I ordered this model for use with a CPR Aquafuge PS, the one with the skimmer. I am getting great skimmate with it, and it fits right inside the inlet of the Aquafuge. I would use this pump again. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had the protein skimmer that I use this pump on for about 10\years this is the second time I have replaced. So I have got about five years service out of each, pretty good for something that runs 24/7 Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Purchased back in January of '05. Worked great til it died and it was cleaned once a month. Impeller broke. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Failure in under a year by Crashed Skimmer

Comments: Had one of these equipped to a CPR Bak Pak and it failed in under a year. Debating on if I should get another or not... I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I suddenly I noticed air bubbles in the tank, followed by a very dark bubble, not RELIABLE I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Rio pump head for CPR by CPR user

Comments: I have used the Rio 600 for over 5 years straight with no failure. I clean it monthly or when required. The biggest problem is salst clogging the air line Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
