I prepare 20 gallons using RO/DI water in a plastic trash can with a mag drive 5 pump to mix the water and salt. By far, this salt dissolves the quickest of any I've tried, and I think I've tried them all. The tank seems to like the salt as well - no issues. Finally, the calcium/hardness levels from lot to lot have been very, very consistent which indicates to me good quality control in the manufacturing process.
