Comments: I tore apart my old one and found that the top part does not have epoxy around the two wires. I think this pump could be made better than a maxi jet and generally it works very well for fresh water not so well for kalk. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I use my pump on the Osmolator and have replaced two of these in the past year. They are fairly inexpensive, run quiet, but I would have a spare on hand in case they fail. I think my pump failures are due to faulty checkvalves that allowed kalk to get into the pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
