Comments: This is a great pump for a beginner who is not looking to spend much money at all. This is a great pump for the price I payed for it. Unfortunately it is my second one that I bought in about two years, because the propeller has a tendency of giving out fairly quickly, but for the price you pay, you can buy 5 of them, and still be better off than if you bought something more expensive that will last you longer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Great

Comments: I really wanted the Rio Hf17 at first, but when I got to use this powerhead I was very pleased with its performance.I'm running it as a return in sump pump on my 125 gallon tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Unsatisfactory

Comments: I purchased 2 of the ViaAqua 3300's and was pleased at first, but after about 6 months 1 of the pumps impeller failed. Could not find a replacement part so I ordred the RIO 3100 so I could have extra impellers on hand for when they go out. Now the secound ViaAqua 3300 has gone out with the same problem. I will not order this pump again , stick to the RIO pumps. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
