SpectraPure MaxPure MPDI Systems incorporate high-flow high-rejection TFC membranes, a 1 micron sediment filter, a 10 micron carbon block filter, and a custom formulated 10” color-change DI cartridge. I was disappointed to find all the fittings had leaks from either no teflon tape or not being screwed in completely. You may think this was not a big deal but the way they have this constructed you can't get to the fittings without removing the filters from the hanger which is 12 screws. So, basically I got a assemble yourself filter but worse then that I had to dis-assemble first. But, my input TDS measurement is 72 and the output of the DI measures 0 so its doing the job. Just wish it was as simple as hanging it on the wall and using it out of the box. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
