Millennium® wet/dry multi-filter combines mechanical, chemical, and wet/dry biological filtration functions in an innovative and efficient tank mounted external filter unit. The unique BioGrid™ plate provides a high surface area of biological filtration that is separate from the MechaniChem® filtration cartridge. In this way, biological filter functions are preserved when the MechaniChem® cartridge is replaced. A venturi air valve mixes oxygen with filtered water to improve gas exchange. Millennium 1000 Filters 90 GPH and the recommended for aquariums up to 15 gallons. 2-Year Warranty. Customer Reviews Write a review 4 of 6 people found the following review helpful: Average Get the 2000 if you have room by LGHT Experience Level: Expert Posted on 1/25/2008 Comments: I have only had the filter running for a few weeks and it's working fine. I was limited to a small filter because the tank is a "HEX" and I only had 6" of room for the filter. The flow is good for a tank 10-20 gallons only, but if I had more room I would have gotten the 2000 for $6.00 more. Since the tank will not have a lot of plants and shouldn't get too dirty it will be good enough. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
