Quartz sleeve by SEAN KIRKEBY Experience Level: Expert Posted on 8/14/2007 from UNIVERSAL CITY, TX UNITED STAT Comments: The only reason I had to buy a new one was because the old one was so fragile it broke when I replaced bulbs causing another week delay before I could get my sterilizer working. It is easy to slide it on to far over the bulb causing it to brake and most likely cut your hand! I think it should be made of tempered glass, expecially at the price it costs. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
