Recommended to be used to compliment Aquablue Plus, Midday 6000 or HQI lighting on marine aquariums with it`s pure actinic spectrum.

Suitable for salt water. A complete pure actinic tube with all the power of the “T5” illumination in actinic form. Will fluoresce your corals to the maximum and blended in conjunction with the HQI or Midday 6000K will bring out the maximum color in your corals.

Shipping Costs

We can pack up to 6 lamps per box. Since fluorescent bulbs require special handling and packaging, we will only ship fluorescent bulb and power compact bulb orders of four or more bulbs free of shipping cost. 48" bulbs are shipped free only if 6 or more bulbs are ordered. 48" lamps ship as an oversize package (30 lbs package).

Great

Wow! What a diff. a bulb makes by Brock

Comments: I just replaced one of my bulbs with this Atinic bulb and my corals and my coralined algea live rock are popping with colors. I dont think this bulb is for growth but for eye candy, nothing is better.

Excellent!

The Only True Actinic in T5's. by TODD MARCH

Comments: This bulb is the closest thing you are going to come to UVL's classic VHO actinic--it's violet in color (NOT blue!!), and fluoresces colors (primarily greens) very, very well... If you are used to all the other cruddy T5 actinics out there (including UVL's, which is ironic considering they set the standard with their VHO bulb), which are TOO blue and TOO bright, you may not like this bulb at all--it's dim with low, low PAR, but that's not why you are using it--this bulb is for supplementation for those us that have never gotten over the POP and intense day-glow colors you can get with VHO 03 actinics.
