The description says medium. It is not medium it is small. In my opinion, it would be best to purchase the 'large' even for a 10 gal. tank, which is what I put the 'medium' one in too. But it is cool and it is not real wood. I thought that I was purchasing real drift wood. No problem, it looks great in the tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
