They make the tank appear more of a bluish color instead of a purple like the 460 did. However, the colors on the colors really pop! The oranges, blues, etc all pop more on the colors. I wouldn't go with the dual 420 setup, I think that would be way too blue for me. I am really happy with the 420/460 combo and think this will be the combo I go with in the future. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
