I would recommend this carbon block filter to anyone. I use this as a second filter and I was very surprised what was getting through the first filter. This carbon block really does a great job. I don't have to worry about chlorine now and I don't have to use any water treatment chemicals to take out chlorine because this filter does it for me. It's much safer for the fish and they get crystal clear water now. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
