Pump outlet, diameter 25mm (0.98"); eight suction cups ensure a stable attachment and prevent vibrations in the filter box. I was able to plumb it to run water through several devices and the flow output was still strong. If you prefer, one of the best feaures is that you can adjust the flow rate. Sizewise, it's not bulky like other pumps and therefore, gives me more room to place other devices in my sump. I am glad the technical support person recommended this product to me. I replaced a "Quiet" One 3000 with this pump and the hum is gone from my living room. I cannot tell this pump is running when its sitting in the sump next to the Mag-5 on my skimmer. The flow output is right on with the pump curve and flow rating. Wish I'd bought it years ago! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
