Water testing equipment like refractometers and probes for aquarium monitoring devices must be calibrated before use and occasionally thereafter to ensure they deliver accurate readings. Some aquarium monitor manufacturers recommend calibration before each measurement is taken. In general, it is wise to calibrate your testing equipment at least once a month.
We carry calibration fluid for all the aquarium controllers and monitors we sell to ensure your equipment provides accurate readings. We have calibration fluid for pH, salinity, conductivity, ORP and nitrate from top brands like American Marine, Neptune Systems and Digital Aquatics.
If your probe is going to be used for a saltwater aquarium or reading pH within a calcium reactor, you’ll want calibration solutions for pH levels of 7 and 10. For effluent level we recommend using calibration solutions of 4 and 7.
We also offer reagent refills for our most popular aquarium test kits. We carry alkalinity, calcium and phosphate reagent for Red Sea Pro test kits as well as reagent kits for the easy-to-use Hanna Checker Colorimeter line.
