Based on a formula used for years in the aquaculture field, it contains minerals and vitamins that are considered essential for marine animals. All minerals and vitamins are in a bio-available form to insure that they can be used by marine organisms. This combination of elements was designed for the purpose of enhancing the immune systems of marine organisms. As a result of regular usage of Saltwater VitaTrace hobbyists can expect vibrant coloration, faster growth and earlier maturation of marine organisms. VitaTrace is phosphate, nitrate and silicate free. VitaTrace will not encourage the growth of unwanted algae. Novalek has over a decade of experience in developing vitamin supplements for the pet market via our Oasis product line. Drawing on the knowledge and skills developed for that line and in close consultation with fish biologists, public aquariums, aquaculture facilities and fish breeders led to the development of VitaTrace. Small amounts of preservatives are used to insure that efficacy and freshness are maintained. Vitamins are tested in warm humid conditions to insure they remain viable over time. Saltwater VitaTrace should be kept tightly closed when not in use. COMPATABILITIES: Saltwater VitaTrace is harmless to fish, corals and other invertebrates. This product is safe for use in aquariums and will not interfere with normal biological filtration. Saltwater VitaTrace is compatible with AmQuel®, AmQuel®+, NovAqua® and PolyAqua®. Use caution when adding liquid Saltwater VitaTrace to water that has a poor buffer reserve (as indicated by problems maintaining a stable pH). A low alkalinity level could cause calcium and magnesium to precipitate in the aquarium. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Saltwater VitaTrace is not intended to be a substitute for proper nutrition, lighting and water quality. To obtain the full benefits of using Saltwater VitaTrace make sure all other aquarium parameters are within normal ranges. If protein skimmer foams excessively, turn off skimmer for up to two hours after application. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1. Shake well. 2. Add one teaspoon per 50 gallons of water. 3. Repeat weekly. CAUTIONS: Saltwater VitaTrace is not intended for human consumption. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with water. If swallowed, drink large amounts of water and seek medical attention.
