Comments: I have owned 4 scwd's great idea bad design, when you buy don't plan on it lasting much over a year. Because the unit is sealed internally so once the water switching parts wear it's junk. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great product!!! Easy to clean in vinegar bath. You can use flow excellerators to get even better action in bigger tanks! Love my two! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: While I've heard complaints about the fact that this unit uses tubing and can't be hard plumbed, it makes installation on an existing system much easier. The product works as advertised, adjusting water flow does increase/decrease the switching. Considering the price of other 'wavemakers' and switching devices, this seems to be a great alternative. Presently I have the SCWD running from my main return pump, but I can see it being most effective in a closed system application, it will be very effective moving small particle foods through the tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i fix one scwd on my 100 galon reef tank with 2400 liters pump (600 galon) it make a very good wave realy amazing no electric no noise very simple small in size big in work. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: 2 years and still going. No problems whatsoever. Water should be clean going into the SCWD. I use a prefilter in my overflow and additional mechanical filteration in the sump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've got mine running on a Mag 9.5 and it cycles every 6 seconds. My corals are opening up more. I eliminated 2 powerheads in the tank with the SCWD Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product is the best I have seen. It uses no power and can be setup in minutes. I have mine on a 50gal tank with a Rio 2500 pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Not a good idea for large reef by RYAN

Comments: If you try to get a lot of flow from this, it rattles and switches quickly. Says it accept 3/4" hose, but inlet size is just over 1/4". Seems like it works better with lower flow. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've had my 2 SCWD's for about 7 months. They have been really nice except for TWICE already I've had to take them apart and clean them out. They stopped working due to sediment deposits. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have 1 on my 75 reef, I attached 1 hydor on each feed and I get a natural wave action in my tank, to clean just soak overnight in vingar and rinse with ro water. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
