Excellent!

Great reactor / compact size by GREG CARROLL

Comments: All I can say is wow! AquaC does it again. This reactor has every feature that I would want in a reactor. Ultra reliable Eheim pump, up-flow design, compact size, recirculating co2 for low co2 consumption, and best of a a screw on lid. Maintenance consist of unscrewing the lid and filling the reactor with additional media. The up-flow design means no more taking the reactor off line to empty the reactor mud that settles on a normal down-flow reactor. This has been by far the best reactor that I have ever owned! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Great

Comments: Well this is a great design for a reactor and holds a lot of media. Only issues i have is the pump is very difficult to disconnect from the system as the fittings are very tightly plumbed for space savings. Second the plumbing leaked from nearly every joint out of the box. I had to drain the unit take it apart to dry it out and use silicon on neary every joint or theaded port on the reactor. I would suggest out of the box just doing this before you even bother filling it with water. Do it on EVERY joint. Only threaded joints this did not leak from was the top lid and the two main screw joint disconnects. They used plumbing tape on the threaded joints and it did not work at all. Silicon took care of it though. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
