Comments: It took a couple of days until it started to work right but now it is doing an awsome job. The collection cup has to be emptied every other days and it contins a brown disgusting liquid. I never thought the water in my tank was so dirty. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: this thing has only ran for about 10 hrs. now and already removing stuff that looks like mud,I didn't think my water had that much gunk in it,its crystal clear.I have 2 120gal. tanks plumbed together into 1 sump through 2 skimmer boxes teed together and taped into the overflow to feed this thing,it works great.you cant hear the pump run but you can hear the water flow a bit sounds like a stream trickle very calming. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Look no further. This is the skimmer for any size reef tank. Currently skimming a forty gallon Acro. and SPS reef, removing about two cups of brown syrup a day. Installation and assembly was a breeze. About 16 hours for total break in but still skimmed some yellow liqiud during the process. With the skimmer in my room, its quiet operation was appreciated. I am 100% Satisfied with this product and you guys:) Worth every penny. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: I purchased this skimmer to replace the same model earlier version that lasted 11 years. The newer version skimmer has an improved design exactly where my old skimmer came apart (intake tube). One other significant change was the use of the Ocean Runner 2700 vs. the Rio 2500. I have had numerous instances where my Rio 2500 would not start up after powering off to service the skimmer. The skimmer out flow options of down tube or filter box is also a plus should you have limited space restrictions in you sump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Amazing skimer!!! by TODD

Comments: If you want a very efficient skimmer at a cheap price this is the one! Removes large amounts of dark waste. Quick break-in period ( almost instantly ) Very quiet skimmer and pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Excellent skimmer. I created a 1/2 inch opening on the cup and attached a tube to because this skimmer removes too much junk for me to keep up with. Great price, awesome product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
