Unsatisfactory
what else do I need? by ADAM

Comments: The product does not ship ready to use. I need to purchase tubing and manufacture some sort of bottle-hose connector in order to put the thing to use. Also, the directions are confusing and don't provide any dosing time to amount of dosing information. This is a product of Poland and the english translation of the directions/instructions is poor. The directions also state that the tubes will randomly wear out at some point and don't provide instructins on how to purchase new ones. Not what I expected for $230!
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

TOO COMPLICATED 4 $ by G8r 1

Comments: Mechanically it operates fine but the ease of understanding the display, programming and resetting the time cycles could be much better. Using it feels like I am an unqualified layman using a device specifically designed for and to be used by experts. It's not very consumer-friendly. When I press the wrong buttons to reset the unit the display flashes illegible numbers rapidly which requires unplugging and replugging the unit's power cord to the outlet.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Does an ok job. The main problem is that the santoprene tubing keeps slipping out of the peristaltic wheel rendering it useless. Also the dosing is not quite accurate due to air bubbles backing up in the output tubing (tubing from the unit to your tank). This occurs when the doser is off. So the first few seconds of its on cycle, the unit is only pushing out air until liquid fills up the output tubing. I haven't tried the spectrapure liter meter but I have heard great reviews only.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!
Does the job of a Ca reactor. by costomer
Comments: A fellow reefer and myself both bought a reefdoser twin a few months ago to dose 2-part Ca+Alk to our reef systems. We both agree that it is an excellent device that maintains those params very stable
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

OK, but some flaws by Tang Police
Comments: PRO: It does its job fine and reliably. CONS: Does not re-start after power failure, manual is hard to understand, consumable motor. Other than that, it's a great doser.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
