Love these by Chris Moultrie

Comments: I love these sump filter socks, they stop the bubbling and filter crazy amounts of stuff out, my water has never been clearer, buy a few at a time though, because they get clogged fast and washing them only works once or twice.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!
berlin sump & filter socks by JOHN DELLAMANNA
Experience Level: Intermediate

Comments: Both are great. The sock traps the finest of particles. The smaller sump has plenty of room for my Sea Urchin Skimmer. Unfortunately, this model does not come with a cover ( to prevent evapoation) but a trip to Home Depot solved that with a piece of acrylic that I dremmeled into to pieces to fit the sump, then add 18' of 3/8 black hose split and it is a finished product.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Its Gotta Be Bleached by KEITH BROUSE

Comments: Ive been using 2 of these for the past 5 years. While one is in the tank doing it s job, Ive got the other one washing in HOT water in machine, with the 'Fill Level" on the mashine to its 'fullest'. Run it thru the longest cycle you have. After the last rinse of he bagg, lay the bag out flat as possible in a broiler pan or something that will hold water and large enough to accomidate the bagg size. Then pour Vinegar over the entire bag until the vinegar is just covering the bag, 1/4" is fine, or the top layer of the bagg is really soaking good. Let the bage 'rinse' in this by just setting it aside, I use the top/lid of the washing machine set the pan with the bag and the vinegar(stright out of the bottle Do Not delute with water). 6 hours is OK, but I prefer to let it soak for overnight. Pick it up and wring it out Relly Good, hang it somewhere, so that the dripping of the vinegar wont land on something you plan to keep. Let it totally dry out, Put it in a sealable Zip-lock(leave seal slightly cracked at one end & then just store until needed, or store it out of the bag where nothing will get to it or ON IT. It works good this rinse, as Vinegar is a slight acid, to take the Chlorine salts out of the material, this Rinsing in Venegar Has Got to be done. Never use 'soap' to wash the the filter sock, bag...Never! Only Use Bleach to wash in and vinegar to rinse, Only.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
