Comments: The sand looks great and really adds to the natural look of my tank. After reading a few other reviews with concerns to the color, I think it's pretty near perfect. Comments: This sand has all the bacteria needed to start a successful tank. The only issue I have is it isn't completely black. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: really like the look of the sand and its quality but its not so black. bought two bags and one was definitly darker than the other. still a great product though. Aragalive is all i use in my systems, new and old. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: it is not exactly a perfect mix of sand. the white part is fine sand and the black parts are larger pieces. more like black lava rocks. i had to take a aquarium net for my fish and take out the larger parts of black lava rock and then it was more acceptable. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Product had more white sand then black sand. Should not be called black sand. I purchased more black moon sand to replace this. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
