Excellent!

Comments: I needed a pump to feed my chiller 500 gal per/h this one does the job and my chiller cycles infrequently due to the flow. Quiet, reliable, as advertised. I've become a fan of Mag-Drive pumps. I have an 1800 gal p/h for my main tank circulation. Two for two haven't gone wrong yet! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have to shut it off when i changing the water, it can have starting problems and I have to take it out and hit it. Then I have to connect the pipe as fast as possible otherwise it will pump all the water on my floor -_- Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Below Average

Two broken Mag 7's in a year by MM

Comments: Used a Mag 7 for my 40g reef. After 9 months, the pump shorted. Manufacturer sent me a new pump. After 1 month this pump also died. Very disappointed. Will try Eheim. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Does what the mfgr. says by reefersrock

Comments: I had been using a MAG3 on my 55gal reef with 60 lbs of LR and a 3" DSB. We since have set up our 30 gal and are using this MAG5...its the correct size, EVEN for the 55gal. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Excellant Pump by some fish-geek

Comments: I use this pump as the main circulation pump on my 75 gallon setup to return water from the sump to the 55 gallon display tank. It keeps a great flow rate and it eliminates the need for powerheads. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This worked great in my 70g setup but generated a lot of heat, switched to a Mag 3 with extra powerheads, this fixed the problem Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Good performance, but it broke by SERHIY

Comments: I liked the pump in my 55 gal tank running for almost a year. Two days ago it died. Need to contact manufactor for warranty. Hope they will replace it with no problems Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Restart problems only when it sucks sand, heat is average for the size. Cleaning is the pain here with six screws on the impeller cover. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
