Comments: The product does move allot of water and works very well until it breaks. My first one after a few years died and then I bought another one that is broke again after a little over two years. The impeller shaft seems to snap fairly easily. For me if the power goes out or something odd happens I seem to loose the pump. Which gets old when they are expensive pumps. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I think I over-estimated the amount of headloss I had because I got this pump for my 180gal expecting 9-10 turnover. Had to make some serious adjustments to my overflows. Beware however, as will all big pumps this one needs to sit on something to absorb vibrational energy or else your entire stand will become one big loudspeaker (this pump may be the quietest for the size, but it is LOUD!). Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This pump will move the water and is very reliable I would only use it as a submersible pump. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is for the noise. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great pump, a little noisy, I use it for my return pump and it moves a lot of water. I put a mouse pad under it in my sump and it is much quieter. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Reliable, best used submersed, great product great price. No issues 5 yrs running 24/7 (except for a few short power outages) Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

not good 4 a gloried powerhead by Nao Hara

Comments: 5 years and still going...even with a cracked ceramic shaft on the impeller assembly. Today, the rubber flap from the impeller housing broke off. Still pumps, just a little less due to cavitation. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
