Comments: Upgraded to this pump when I went from a 55 to a 90G. Very happy with it - quieter than my old pump, even though it's much more powerful. Recommend a ball or gate valve in case your return can't handle all the water it pushes. It does seem to be louder when not fully open. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is one of my first Ehiem pumps, and will not be the last. This pump replaces a mag 9.5 as my return pump; the noise difference is unbelievable. Extremely quiet, good build quality, relatively low power consumption. The price is a little steep, but once you plug it in and hear nothing it's completely worth it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I just put this thing in my sump,don't know how much heat it adds yet,but it moves a lot of water and you can't hear it running.I'm gonna build a bigger sump and drill it for a bulk head than I'll try this thing inline,but submerged works fine for now. I replaced A Quiet One 3000 with this pump,it puts Quiet One to shame.Quiet One has restart issues and is a bit noisy. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I can't belive how quiet this thing is I pluged it in and didn't think it was working but it was! I put my ear 6 inches away from it and still could not hear it. WOW! is all I can say well worth the money, well built, and by far the quietiest pump I never heard. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Used submerged driving a spray bar and three under gravel jets, it is very quiet and (with a 3" fan) only adds about 0.2F to my 120 gallon acrylic tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Low heat and quiet, I'm using this to push 2 Ocean Clear cannisters and it works like a champ. I've never understood why Eheim just doesn't use barbs instead of the thread connectors. I heat the tubing before connecting the first time, it helps. This does not take away from an outstanding pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My last pump was an Eheim 1260 with no problems for the last 3 years. I went with a larger model (1262) for my new 120 gal. Very dependable pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I tried various other brands in the same catagory. Nothing compares to how quiet this pump is. Very tranquil and only a very slight hum washed out by the Remora with the 1200 pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Highly recommended pump. I replaced a mag 24 with the 1262 and the difference was nothing short of remarkable. The temp in my 215 gallon tank dropped 6 degrees and its very quiet! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
