When EcoTech Marine began to take root, the first thing we realized was there were several solutions which could be employed to keep and maintain a healthy reef aquarium. However, very little evidence has ever been presented to indicate if one of these solutions was definitively more effective than the rest. Little scientific data exists to show why some methods work at all, but what is clear are the serious differences between the native aquatic ecosystems in nature and the terrestrial habitats created in aquaria.

EcoTech Marine`s goal is to more clearly define these differences and offer solutions that are shown to have scientific merit and constructed with engineering superiority.

There is, after all, a difference between thrive and survive.
