It gives the tank a nice polished shine. It doesn't magically make scratches disappear, but it does help with micro-fine scratches, and hazy areas. I enjoy using it at the end of my weekly maintenance routine, after which I use my mag float to clean the insides, and the felt on the mag float glides very nicely over the freshly polished surface on the outside. Nice way to finish off your maintenance routine. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
