In 1986 the founders of TECO observed a need for an aquarium refrigeration unit. From this observation TECO developed their first aquarium refrigeration unit in 1986.
The RA240 was a highly efficient aquarium chiller with a small footprint and attractive design. The RA240 could drop a 130 gallon system by 10° .
TECO introduced it`s new line of TR/CR Chillers in Europe and Asia in 2003. Since then over 5,000 units have been sold.
With the success of the early RA model chillers and the continued success of the new TR easily make TECO the best selling and most popular chiller in the world with over 40,000 units sold!
