Comments: I am very happy with this product. It is easy to install, uninstall, clean, etc. It allows for great suction and seems very sturdy. My only wish is that the end was not a solid piece, but perforated like the rest of the tube. As a side note, I highly recommend using these in a closed loop-the water flow if you have a good pump, and the noiselessness are AMAZING. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: I needed a screen to "stuff" out of the inlet to my AmpMaster 3600 pump in the sump. This particular screen works great as the openings are large enough to allow free water flow (along with it's length), but not so big that I have to worry about small snails working there way in. Because it uses standard threads, it will screw right into any threaded 1 1/2" bulkhead fitting. This makes it very easy to remove when you need to clean any algae out of the inlet to your pump. All in all, it appears to be a well made piece that does the job it was created for. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
