Description

Chillers are often needed to keep the water temperature within a range optimal for your tank inhabitants. But chillers are consuming a lot of energy and are very loud. For smaller tanks or for tanks with lower temperature problems a special aquarium fan is the better choice. We offer two sizes, a tripple version and a version with 5 fans. Both models have a stainless steel (V4A) housing and a black paint finish. All components are made of stainless steel materials (screws, connectors....) The fans are operating with low voltage (12 V) over the tank and can be fixed in several positions. Main fan assembly is 12 1/4" long x 4 1/2" tall. Total height including mounting legs is 7 inches. The fan assembly can be angled up or down aproximatly 20 degrees from the mounting clamps. Installed height aproximatly 6". The mounting legs are 15" apart. Mounting clamps will fit up to 11/16" wide glass or acrylic and can be rotated 360 degrees. Customer Reviews Write a review 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Excellent! I do not enjoy DYI so drilling holes in my canopy was not an option for me. I purchased two of these for my new 120 and just set each one right on the back bar of the canopy on both sides of the tank, plugged them in, and voila, all done! They are quiet and efficient, doing an excellent job of keeping my temps down even with 2 250w MH going 9 hours per day. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
