Comments: i dont like this heater, it shuts off then my tank goes down 3 degrees and it turns back on for 15 minutes before reaching 78 again. And its only a 3 gallon I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is my first heater. Keeps my 2.5 gallon fish tank consistently the same temp (within 1 degree). My fish are a lot happier! Was a bit longer than I hoped it would be so I have it in the tank at an angle which works fine. Getting it up to temperature the first time was a little confusing but I like the light that turns on when it is heating up. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This Hagen Aqua Compact Heater is the greatest! It keeps the temperature of my 2 1/2 gallon tank (homemade tank from an iMac computer) between 74 to 76. I have used one for 5 months and then bought another so when I have to change tanks completely I have one ready to warm up the water. That happened when I first used the tank, it had a small pin leak. Anyway, I could not find anything below a 50W heater in any pet store. I like that you can submerse the heater if you want. They say bettas don't need a heater or larger area, but I've read where it should even be larger tank, however, this one is so cute and the heater works perfectly! Good to have a spare, too. Nancy S. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had this heater installed for about a week. It has been maintaining the temperature in my tank perfectly. I like how the temperature setting can be adjusted on this heater, unlike most other heaters for 5 gallon or less tanks. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
