Unsatisfactory

Comments: First of all it was NOT self starting. I moved the thing up and down as rapidly as possible and it never came anywhere near the top. So I had to suck on the bottom of the hose to start the siphon. Second, even when the clamp near the bottom of the hose was clamped as tightly as possible, the siphon drained the tank so quickly that there was no way to clean even 25% of the gravel. Total ripoff! Don't buy it!!
I would not recommend this product to my friends.
