Also, there are connections for the battery to run two Ecotech units, but the battery comes with only one set of connecting wires for one pump (?).Besides these minor issues, its simple to install, worked when I tested it, and does give you a sence of comfort knowing you will have power in a blackout. Experience Level: Intermediate Posted on 8/18/2008 from NEW ULM, MN UNITED STATES Comments: This solid, heavy little unit, built & backed by Icecap, is a perfect complement to EcoTech Marine's VorTech. It truly is insurance in a box, and is a better alternative by far than my previous "prayer method" approach to a power outage. I also see that Icecap plans to offer a battery replacement in 5-6 years with equivelant or current technology for a projected nominal fee of roughly $65 + shipping... now that's thinking ahead.
