Comments: Love this product. Made my water crystal clear overnight. Only draw back I can see is that is is a little on the bulky side, but its a great solution when you're running a system that cannot support an in-line sterilizer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I wish I had purchased this or something simliar. In just a couple days, I can see quite a difference in the clarity of the water, but most importantly, the fish are more active and appear to be acting naturally, instead of just hanging out. I've always had a difficult time keeping snail alive. The three trubo snails I have seem to be very healtly and are happy plowing through the hairy alaege as if there was no tommorw. I highly recommender a uv sterlizer for any size tank. Its worth it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased this unit for a 20 Gal hospital tank. It does a great job to keep the water clear and healthy. It was easy to install and the extra power outlet at the balast compensates for the short pump cable. It was easy to install and easy to maintain. Used in conjunction with an hang on mechanical/biological filter. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Does an OK job of killing algae. Biggest problem is both power cords are ridiculously short. I have a standard 29 gallon tank that's 18 inches tall on a 30 inch stand. With the unit completely submerged (which it has to be to work) the corde don't even touch the ground. Some of us don't have a sump to put things in. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am amazed on how much of a difference I can tell from the water quality now that the UV is in the tank! It's a little bulky if you have a small aquarium under the size of 30 Gallons, but anything bigger, I think it will make a great addition to your tank! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I received my 5 watt UV sterilizer model yesterday from MarineDepot. My 30 gallon long tank has green water . Its an open top tank with dwarf papyrus,lilies,etc . Thus its right next to a window and gets lots sun. I ran the unit since last night and BINGO greenwater is gone . Its crystal clear. I would have liked suction cups a bit larger as bit small for the unit. Its 9 inches high and 3 wide thus might to big for some tanks. I am just going to use it here and there to kill suspended algae than remove it from tank but again it works GREAT and very easy to use . Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After a bad outbreak of ich and research I invested in this product. My fish are healthy and my encounters with algae is lower. I switch between low flow and high flow often to combat both algae, and parasites.The added flow in my tank is a plus. You can use this unit in your sump as well. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Went to my local pet store and they recommended this product. I had an algae bloom that was horrid and had one 6 months before. I had at that time gone to a "speciality" store and was sold some chemicals that got rid of the algae bloom but also killed my beaufitul fish. I highly recommend this fantastic product . Its easy to use and is perfect for smaller tanks. It took one week to clear water that was so bad that I could not even see my fish that I had purchased after using harmful chemicals to do the same job. I am very happy with this product and even with mechanically challenged people like me , found it easy to use. Now my water is clear and sparkeling. Do NOT use chemicals to get rid of an algae bloom . Use this product. It will work forever. Thanks! ! And the price is great too! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
