Average
ok filter by JOHN H JOSEPH

Comments: Makes water as suggested. with optional drinking water kit water has a plastic after-taste. Also filter came with some cracked fittings, plus some parts cracked. Which were easily replaced for only a few cents, but is quite annoying. One problem I have is that when pressure builds in the unit (water container filled and float valve active) it makes a loud whistling noise, due to some pressure release. The water then pressurizes the unit and again comes the whistle as pressure leaks from the system. Make sure to have a valve on the water inlet so you can turn it off when your water container is full. i would not buy this unit again, but maybe I got a defective unit or installed it improperly. I think the former is more likely since set up is easy.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
