I use to use syringes for target feeding, no more. Also, this is 10 times easier to clean than syringes. If you don't think so, try it. "I will agree with John's comment "If I could make one change on this product, it would be to change the bulb for a syringe-style top. There is more than enogh room in the tube to hold a great deal of food. With a syringe style top, relaxing your hand doesn't mean sucking water back into the tube and the food would be ready for that instant when you want to deliver it. The calibration marks on the retractible tube might then be more useful". Other than that great point, I love this feeding prong. I have always wanted one, now I'm glad I actually did purchase one. The Nautilus does what it says that it will however my only complaint is that it is very hard to clean. It also have poor suction after you remove the squirter from the food cup so you have to use your finger to keep everything from coming out. Good product, especially for the price, my two complaints I think are standard for any feeder and not just his particular brand. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
