Kent Pro Tech Coat Marine neutralizes chlorine and heavy metals. It restores the natural slime coating to relieve fish stress, calm, and protect against abrasion. It helps acclimatize fish to new surroundings. It can be used when preparing tap water, making water changes, adding new fish, handling fish, transporting fish, or when fish are wounded. Pro Tech Coat Marine is different than competing products because it contains only costly polyvinylpyrrolidone as the coating ingredient. This same product is FDA approved as an ingredient in human medicinal and nutrition products. Competing products contain cheap fillers such as aloe vera and carboxymethylcellulose which then decay in the aquarium and lower the redox and the overall water quality. Pro Tech Coat Marine does not affect biological filtration and is safe for all marine species including sensitive hard and soft corals and other invertebrates. Competing products may cause soft corals and feather dusters to close permanently.

Directions:
Fish Only Marine Aquariums: Add one teaspoon (capful or 5ml) per 10 gallons (40 liters) of tap water to remove chlorine. Wait one week to start your skimmer. Add twice the amount to the aquarium to aid injured or stressed fish, or when parasites are evident. Marine Reefs: Use only when necessary to aid injured, or stressed fish, or when parasites are evident, because you will have to turn off the skimmer while using. Add one teaspoon (capful or 5ml) per 10 gallons (40 liters) of aquarium water.

Considerations for use:
Although Pro Tech Coat Marine can be used in the main tank, you may want to use it in an auxiliary or hospital tank whenever possible, because it will cause the protein skimmer to produce heavy amounts of foam. It is recommended that the skimmer be turned off for the period of treatment, when treating sick or wounded fish. At the conclusion of treatment, turn the protein skimmer back on. This should be at least a week later. Pro Tech Coat Marine is a particularly useful aid to antibiotic and parasite treatments, and although it is not a medication, it will assist in and promote a rapid recovery for the ill animal.

Deionized water, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium thiosulfate, inorganic stabilizers, preservatives.

Not for human consumption. For Aquarium/Ornamental fish use only! Not for fish used for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children!
