Great

Comments: When receiving the set, all the plastic made the unit seem cheap. However, installation was intuitive and easy. About 45min. total setup time. The regulator and the needlevalve seemed more for looks than functionality but they proved to be both very accurate and easy to configure to the required parameters. The needle valve turns with the tubing, which allows very little turning capacity before the tubing begins to play a force on the assembly. However, the needle valve's usable range is very small making this issue irrelevant. It takes a little fiddling to find the right dosing rate, but once found, it stay there. Also, as noted, the calibration range is at most a 1/4 turn between maximum and minimum dosing. The difuser is again very small and it does not look like much until you put it to work. It is rated for tanks up to 500 liters. This can be misleading. I have a 500 liter tank (effective) give or take and it can barely keep a level 10ppm concentration during the day. I am running tests (raising the level to 20-25ppm at night) to see if it can hold this concentration durig the day. If not, I am evaluating a second CO2 difuser. In all it is a great product. One less star for imprecise advertising regarding the diffusers capacity. However, if I do get a second diffuser, it will be the same red sea unit with the same bubble counter and needle valve.
