Comments: Owners at my frequented LFSs grudgingly told me they use this in their professional displays but sold the cheap crap because thats what hobbists and maintenance crews used - cheap sells. I bought a small box, used RODI H2O & it is amazing. I now add NOTHING to the salt, it dissolves in 10 minutes leaving no residue, and the colors of the SPS/LPS really showed after 2-3 water changes. I do weekly 10% changes and will use nothing else. I now only test for Ca+ & Alk. My expensive corals live & thrive in this stuff. Worth the cost! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Dissolves before it hits the bottom of the bucket, just like the other tropic marin, and has tons of calcium and added compounds. Always known as the best salt ever. Worth the extra price. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Without a doubt this salt is the hands down winner when it comes to synthetic sea salt. I originally bought this at a local Store in Orlando, Fl when I was picking up a coral. I had never seen it before or even heard of it and the price was three times higher than any other salt I had bought. I went ahead though and purchased some and I have not been disappointed since. The results have been nothing less than great. I use to make up water a week in advance in a large Rubbermaid can and after a week the diatoms covered ever in of the can and ruined the water. I don’t use RO like the majority of people in this hobby use so I always thought that was the reason. Plus my tank after a few days would start to bloom diatoms even with an abundance of snails on the glass. Since I bought Tropic Marin Pro I know longer have diatoms and I can go longer between water changes and use less salt per gallon than with any other mix. I mix it up 3 weeks in advance and the water is just as clear as the first day I mixed it. I will use no other mix ever period. A bonus also is my coralline algae have finally taken hold of my tank after 4 years of trying to get it to go. Great Product and it the long run you will save money with fewer changes. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
