Great
Acclimator by JHEYMAN
Experience Level: Intermediate
Posted on 4/23/2008
Comments: This is a brilliant invention that every serious hobbyist should own. It does a great job slowly acclimating everything from fish to corals to shrimps and crabs (which really need slow acclimation). The only negative callout is that there should be a sticker on it that warns you to not lean or set it down on the plastic hose fitting on the bottom or it will easily break off. A better idea would be to make this stub removable to prevent breakage. I did break mine but was able to repair it with acrylic cement.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Unsatisfactory
Avoid this product by Bob
Experience Level: Beginner
Posted on 11/30/2007 from Summit, NJ
Comments: This purchase was an expensive mistake. The plastic drain tube broke off the first time I used it and could not be repaired with Super Glue. The gap in the plastic arm intended for hanging the tank to the side of the aquarium is too narrow to fit on my sump tank where I acclimate my new fish. The clear plastic walls let in light which makes a stressful experience for new fish even worse. Save your money and use a bucket of opaque plastic like the kind marine salt comes in.
I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Expensive plastic box by DARREN SLEAT
Experience Level: Intermediate
Posted on 9/20/2007 from PASADENA, CA UNITED STATES
Comments: It's a big plastic box with some plastic tubing and a small valve. You could make your own for much cheaper. It works fine but isn't worth the price.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
