First RO/DI

Pros: Works well. Lots of tutorials online

Cons: DI gets used up faster than expected but that is probably the waters fault

This works well. When I got it I was a little lost. There are plenty of videos online that explain how to set it up and use it. So far so good

Disappointing RO Membrane and Customer Service

Pros: Good looking unit, good fit and finish, comes assembled

Cons: Included RO Membrane is faulty, No Response from AquaFX, I have to buy a replacement RO Membrane

Fit and Finish are very good, initial impressions were very good. But I quickly realized the RO Membrane is faulty or bad quality. It is supposed to remove 90% of TDS, leaving the DI Resin to remove the remaining 10%. This membrane is only removing 70% of TDS. I have removed and reseated the membrane to make sure it's in right. I thought it could be low pressure causing the inefficiency, so I purchased a booster pump. This barely helped, lowered the product TDS by only 5. I emailed AquaFX almost 3 weeks ago with no response, and also left a message on their forum on R2R with no reply. However another user mentioned having the same problem. The inefficiency of the RO Membrane burned through DI Resin extremely quickly, which I had to buy more of, and I bought a booster pump which wasn't the root of the problem, and now I have to buy a new membrane. So all in all I have doubled the purchase price of the system.
Also the instructions that come with the unit are extremely minimal and difficult to understand for a first time RODI user, as well as the instructions for their Float Switch which I also purchased. Luckily I found a video online that explained how to use it. This company is based in Florida and I was happy to support an American company but the lack of clear instructions and no customer service replies are very disappointing and will make me hesitant to recommend them or buy from them in the future.

A quality RODI system

Pros: Quality build, constructed and assembled in Winter Park, FL; pre assembled; built in TDS meter

Cons: Only one type of supply connector included

This is a very well made system, built here in Florida. The instructions are simple and it already comes mostly pre-assembled. Just mount it where you want and install the supply and drain lines. Best part is Marine Depot and my LFS sell the filter elements and replacement parts.

Only con I can think of is that I do wish that it came with more than just the hose bib supply line fitting. but I made it work with a quick trip to the hardware store.

Love it!

Pros: All in one unit ready to go from the box.

Cons: Would prefer it to come with a float valve.

Was in the market for a RO/DI unit and this unit does not disappoint! It works just like it should, definitely a high quality product! Best part Marine Depot price matched and gave me a great deal! Will definitely be shopping more with Marine Depot!!

Awesome

Pros: All in one system, already assembled

Cons: Had to disassemble to make it flow left to right, just made the tubes longer and looped it around to avoid the hassle

Great product, already assembled, hook the tubes up and go

Works Great!

Pros: Works Great!

Cons: Needs a float valve

This system works great! It has an attached TDS so you can measure the TDS before the water goes through the DI membrane and after it does. I have flooded my basement/utility room MULTIPLE times already so you definitely need a float valve!!
