As time goes on and our coral get bigger, their demand for essential elements that keep them growing increases with them. This can leave some smaller calcium reactor setups either lacking enough media to cover the consumption over a period of time, needing the media to be replenished more often. Purchasing a new larger reactor could end up being too expensive, so rather than shelling out for one, the AquaMaxx T-X Secondary Media Chamber allows the addition of approximately 1.25 liters of extra media, at a fraction of the cost.

Set it and forget it. The AquaMaxx T-X Secondary Media Chamber lid is removes simply with a few twists, so adding extra aragonite is no sweat. The T-X fittings quickly connect and lock your feed & effluent lines, making setup easy-peasy.

Yes, I would recommend this.

Really finishes off the entire setup

Pros: Sleek design. Completes the calcium reactor setup. very big and can hold almost 5 pounds of media

Cons: potentially could leak? I'm checking on the fittings for now

I love the way this looks it's sleek, well made, high quality acrylic, that I hope lasts a long long time. The acrylic is very clear and looks durable and strong, not cheap or chintzy at all. I fill it up to the top with crushed coral and I'm excited to see how much gets consumed over the months period..Remember to push the connections all the way down or else it will leak water out the bottom. I'm still keeping an eye on it and will update if I run into any problems.
